Dear First Grade Families,

Our school year was put to a halt very quickly on March 13. The sudden stop has taken us all by complete surprise and I want you to know that every teacher wishes we could have had more of a chance to say, “I will see you very soon!” The latest update is this:

The Department of Education announced that all schools in Pennsylvania will remain closed, through April 6^th. Unless there is another extinction due to COVID-19, Students will return to school on April, 9th.

What does this mean for your child’s education?

- Starting Monday, March 30^th, I will be posting lists of resources for Enrichment/Practice for all subject areas. Please make sure to check our Class Dojo Daily for announcements and activities I will want your child to explore for the day/week. I will be asking you to send me a video or picture each week of your child completing an activity.

- I am planning a ZOOM meeting for Monday, March 30^th to talk to the students and say Hi! Watch Class Dojo for more information!

I miss my students and cannot wait to get back into the classroom and get back to our normal schedule. Stay healthy, stay safe and take some time to enjoy this time together.
