Welcome to the Nicely Elementary School website. I am honored to be the instructional leader of a faculty and staff who partners with the community and parents to create a warm and safe learning environment. As a life-long resident of Greensburg and a former Nicely student and teacher, I realize how special Nicely Elementary School is to the Greensburg community.

As a Nicely parent myself, I cherish the educational experiences my children have been afforded. Our staff at Nicely promotes collaborative learning opportunities that enhance student engagement and deep understanding as they progress through their educational journey. The teachers build strong connections to students and establish bonds that go far beyond the classroom. Instruction is filled with best practices that are woven into a rigorous and relevant curriculum that is research supported and standards based. This engages all stakeholders into the learning community. Teachers are aware of students’ individual needs. They begin where the students are and facilitate their progress toward reaching their fullest potential. Each staff member does whatever it takes to make every child successful.

Parents are encouraged to play a key role in their child's education. We believe open communication between staff, students and parents fosters connections critical to students’ well being. I invite you to peruse our website to learn more about the many facets of our school. I would like you to know that my door is always open and I welcome your suggestions. Together we make a difference in the lives of our children.
